I am queer and I am a cognitive neuroscientist.//
I am a PhD student in psychology at UT Austin studying individual differences in brain development with a focus on education and mental health outcomes. I grew up in an ultra orthodox religious community with no queer people or non-male scientists visible to me. Since coming out both as queer and a scientist I have been searching for ways for these identities to intersect and voila! Visibility and community are so important and I am passionate about growing queer community in STEM spaces.
