They/Them

I am BiInSci and a PhD student in integrative pathobiology🧬🔬🏳️‍🌈.//

I am a first year PhD student in the Integrative Pathobiology program at UC Davis. I graduated from UC Santa Cruz back in 2019 with a B.S. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. I am a cell and developmental biologist whose interested in immunology. I study asymmetric cell division in C. elegans. My research project is on the structure-function analysis of an asymmetric division protein, LET-99.

I’m a bi, first-generation student hailing from a low-income family. My goal is to become a principal investigator and a leader in academia. By pursuing a career in academia, I will give back to my community by training California’s future leaders in scientific disciplines. I will continue to support the growth of diversity in STEM.
