Tabea Hässler
They/Them
I am queer and I am a social and health psychologist.//
Hi there,
My name is Tabea, and I’m a professor of Social Psychology and Intergroup Relations. In my free time, you can find me backpacking through Central America or elsewhere, diving with sharks, or mountain biking. I love to meet people from all around the world and are always up for a drink.
I lead a global LGBTIQ+ health project, where I collaborate with over 100 scholars and key stakeholders from more than 70 countries and all continents. Additionally, I co-curated the Swiss LGBTIQ+ Panel with Léïla Eisner.
My research focuses on understanding the responses to inequalities within diverse advantaged and disadvantaged groups, with a particular emphasis on LGBTIQ+ individuals globally. My goal is to foster inclusive societies, promote social justice, and improve health outcomes for everyone. To achieve this, I work closely with researchers and key stakeholders from around the world. Finally, I believe it’s crucial to disseminate my findings to a broad audience.
