I am trans and I am an aquatic community ecologist.//
I completed my PhD in the San Diego State University and University of California Davis Joint Doctoral Program in Ecology before moving to Israel to work as a Postdoctoral Fellow for two years at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
Currently, I am a postdoctoral associate at the University of Alabama where I am working to leverage the non-trophic effects of animals to promote the recovery of ecosystem functions in tidal wetlands. More broadly, my research program aims to understand the importance of consumer communities in mediating the biological structure and ecosystem functions of wetlands and drylands worldwide.
