I am gay and I am an astrophysicist.//

I’m a teaching-track assistant professor in physics and astronomy at McMaster University, Hamilton, Canada.  My PhD focussed on globular clusters in the nearby Triangulum Galaxy, and some of my work has also included history of science and pedagogical research.  I teach undergraduate classes in astronomy, physics, and integrated science, and my current work in equity, diversity, and inclusion is focussed on decolonization and reconciliation through Indigenous astronomy, and 2SLGBTQIA+ mentorship.  I’m happy to help anyone through the 500 Queer Scientists project.
