Hi I’m Krisha, and I’m grad student in the Helen Wills Neuroscience Institute at UC Berkeley. I am a queer and trans woman of color studying how neural circuits can adapt and change among a variety of conditions to produce a stable output. As a visibly queer and trans person of color in my field, I am committed to ensuring that the voices of those underrepresented in neuroscience and the life sciences are uplifted and heard, and that scientific institutions must acknowledge the impact of their science upon marginalized communities. I want to be an accessible resource, especially for other QTPOC interested in pursuing a scientific career!
