I am queer and I am a biologist. //
My fascination with biological science prompted me to join the Indian Institute of Science, Education and Research (IISER) Mohali in 2013 for an Integrated BS-MS Course. Five years of rigorous scientific training and coursework further motivated me to pursue academia. I will begin my PhD in neuroscience this summer and my research will focus on learning mechanisms in fruit flies.
