I am pansexual and I am a geologist.//
I’m currently a postdoctoral scholar at UC Santa Barbara where I study the fluid and sediment dynamics of modern and ancient rivers. I’ve been really lucky to have supportive friends, family, and mentors but struggle being open with my sexuality because it doesn’t fit the traditional gay/lesbian mold. I am inspired by all the stories here on 500QueerScientists and I am actively trying to be more open about myself and my identity. I hope that my story can help other pan/bi/queer individuals feel seen. I see you! I appreciate you!
