I am bi and I am an ornithologist.//
I am an early-career ornithologist and I hope to attend graduate school in the near future. My goal is to incorporate fieldwork and museum study together. Currently, I am moving between field internships to gain experience.
While I came out to my lab and classmates as an undergraduate, I still remain in the closet when working in the field with new crews. I hope to become a role model for queer scientists working in the field so they can feel comfortable expressing their true identity.
