I am queer and I am a molecular biologist.//
I received my B.S. from Middle Tennessee State University in 2019 and am currently pursuing my M.Sc. at the same uni. Being a queer femme in STEM has allowed me to reach the next generation of scientists on a more personal level while adding to the necessary representation we all need to see. I spend my free time hiking, reading, cleaning/processing skeletons, and anything else that keeps me close to nature. I hope in the future I am able to use my background in molecular ecology to help tell the stories of the unseen ecosystems we so often overlook.
