I am asexual and I am an evolutionary biologist, behaviorist, bioinformatician.//

I’m currently a Master’s student at the University of Puerto Rico Rio Piedras Campus. I’m interested in modeling the evolutionary characteristics that are selected for in the development social organizations at a species level. To do that, I catch bees and observe them in the lab.

I’m also passionate about teaching and helping make academia more accessible to students with learning disabilities. While pursuing my undergrad degree I learned the hard way that institutions do very little in the way of helping special needs students like me. It’s un fair that academia is so hostile to people who read a bit slower, or see the world in a different angle. I want to help change that.
