I am gay and I am an entomologist.//

I am an entomologist working in the non-profit world of public gardens. I received my PhD in entomology from the University of Maryland and then started working in integrated pest management (IPM) in public gardens and greenhouses. I not only do all aspects of IPM, but also teach courses to children and adults, perform IPM research, and manage a live butterfly exhibit and honey bees!
