I am a gay man and I am a biophysicist.//
I am a computational biophysicist studying DNA configurations and their optimized states based on their sequence composition. I’m just a nerd using physics to understand DNA and loving every second. I’m currently working on sequences of DNA between 300-1000 bp in length, especially in circular configurations. My career passions beyond research include collegiate and adult learning science education, “pop sci” communication, and increasing under-represented populations in the sciences. I’m currently working on separate MSc and PhD degrees at Rutgers University where I also work as an adjunct instructor and content creator for General Chemistry courses.
