I am gay and I am an agricultural scientist, currently working on integrated pest management.//
I’m a plant scientist/agronomist converted to learning, networking, and technology geek. I currently work as content developer and supervisor for University of California Statewide Integrated Pest Management Program in Davis, enjoying bringing science to the public and particularly the design and development of online courses about IPM and pesticide safety. California is a state with a breathtaking nature and incredible ag diversity, so working (and gardening) here feels just perfect 🙂 Earlier in my career I worked for International Maize and Wheat Improvement Center based in Mexico and had opportunity to work with wonderful people on projects all around the world. And even earlier I started my career as University teacher in Namibia, amazing country which I consider my second home till today.
