I am gay and I am an instructor of physiology at the Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center-New Orleans.//
Hello! I am a Brazilian Neuroscientist leaving in the USA. My research focuses on understanding how alcohol and stress promote changes in brain mechanisms to drive the adverse behavioral outcomes associated with alcohol use disorders and stress-related neuropsychiatric diseases using rodent models. I received my B.S. in Biology and my Ph.D. in Psychobiology from the University of Sao Paulo in Brazil.
Outside academia, I enjoy traveling, cooking and exploring new places. I love to bike around New Orleans and explore the neighborhoods. I am also a wine and food enthusiast.
