I am queer and I am a palaeoanthropologist.//
I am polyamorous, bi researcher and dissertation coach, although I much prefer “queer” to define my sexual fluidity. I have only relatively recently come out, in part due to relationships wherein previously it could be hidden, and in part due to feeling inadequate around what it meant for me.
I have learned to recognise the importance in publicly acknowledging who I am. It is important, for my own mental wellbeing and more broadly, to be visible.
