I am queer and I am a cellular and developmental neurobiologist.//
I am an assistant professor in the department of Developmental and Cell Biology at the University of California, Irvine. My lab researches how neurons regenerate after injury.
I got my BA at the University of Pennsylvania, worked as a technician for a bit at Johns Hopkins University, got my PhD from Harvard University, and was a postdoctoral fellow at the University of California, San Francisco, before coming to UCI.
