She/Her

I am queer and I am a former consultant and Masters of Public Health candidate.//

I am a second year MPH student at Washington University in St. Louis, focusing on Epidemiology and Biostatistics with an interest in maternal and infant mortality. I was a consultant for recycling and waste management, and reproductive health/nutrition workshops/education. However, recently my research has begun to focus on maternal and infant mortality with internalized racial bias in medical professionals.

First-generation student – my ultimate goal is to be in the front lines in addressing maternal and infant mortality within SouthEast Asian communities, and to be a leader in academia. From having no one who has a similar identity, I want to be able to provide that for future students while being able to give back to my community.
