She/Her

I am queer and I am a neuroscientist.//

I am a Postdoctoral neuroscientist studying how stem cells in the brain may contribute to neural repair. My research focuses on use of rehabilitation, pharmacological interventions, and cellular reprogramming to improve the brain’s endogenous response to injury. My work spans multiple disease models, including stroke, cerebral palsy, multiple sclerosis, and spinal cord injury. I’m passionate about science communication and teaching, and I love to contribute my expertise to collaborate on all kinds of projects. Outside of the lab, I travel around North America playing roller derby, and am currently captain of my local team.
