I am queer and I am a freshwater scientist.//
I have a PhD in freshwater conservation and am now working for a science-based charity, where I encourage the general public to get involved in freshwater-based citizen science. I’m especially interested in global change in freshwaters, and how intersects between nature and society are driving these changes.
I like exploring new ways to share science with people, and will go to extreme lengths to do so. I’ve even tried my hand at stand-up comedy.
In my free time I play lacrosse, run up and down mountains, and lounge around in my pyjamas.
