I am genderqueer and I am a future psychologist. //

I graduated from Binghamton University with a BA in psychology, spanish language, and literature. As an undergrad, I did research in an intimate relationships lab, mostly focusing on intimate partner violence (IPV). I also worked in a vision science/affective neuroscience lab. I am currently participating in an NIH/NIMHD-funded summer research program carrying out research on Latino mental health disparities in Mexico. My research interests include examining discrimination and trauma and their effects on the emotions and cognitions of marginalized groups, and utilizing behavioral, psychophysiological, and neuroimaging methods.
