I’m gay and I’m a principal investigator in chemical biology at the National Institutes of Health.
I’ve been immersed in science as long as I can remember. My laboratory at the NCI develops molecules with potential clinical use to probe cancer and infectious disease pathways. Being a cancer survivor and working in the service of public health has provided the fuel to drive the work done in my lab. I’m a proud single dad to two wonderful girls.
