They/Them

I’m trans and gay and I’m an Mres student in zoology! //

I’m an LGBT zoologist with a specialisation in entomology, specifically native Australian bees and honey bees. I graduated with a degree in conservation zoology, having obtained a bachelor’s degree at Western Sydney University while also running the Queer Collective. I have assisted in a wide range of research with animals, including lions, emus, native rodents, koalas, wombats, native stingless bees, and honey bees. I’m currently undertaking a Masters of Research at Macquarie University in cognition and neurobiology in European Honey bees (Apis Mellifera) with my supervisor Dr. Andy Barron, and currently am working on research into the bias in the hypotheses space in homosexual research between human and animal research.
