I am queer and I am a computational biologist. //
I’m a nonbinary and pansexual incoming graduate student at the University of Washington Seattle Genome Science. I’ve previously conducted research genomics-related internships at Stanford University, University of Geneva, and UW Seattle, and at my alma mater DePauw University. I’m a Goldwater Scholar, NSF Fellow, and I’m excited to make a difference in genomics and data science to improve personalized medicine. I have future aims to teach as a college professor and support underrepresented students and queer students in STEM. When I’m not in the lab, I’m a graphic artist and a huge fan of hiking!
