I am gay and and I am an associate professor in nursing.//

I hold a Ph.D. in nursing science (administration) from the Université de Montréal. I am currently an associate professor in nursing at the Université du Québec en Outaouais (Saint-Jérôme). My research focuses on the humanistic perspective of the quality of work life among nurse managers and nursing staff inspired by Watson’s Caring Science. I’m advocating for the development of national humanistic policy within healthcare organization as well as the integration of political competencies into the nursing education. I have been engaged for 15 years in the nursing governance and policies. In June of 2020, I was elected as the President-Elect of the Canadian Nurses Association.  I am also a strong advocate for the diversity and inclusion in the nursing profession.
