I am a lesbian and I am a neuroscientist. //
I’m a neuroscientist researching the neural basis of psychiatric disorders using brain imaging, brain stimulation (TMS/tDCS), and cognitive paradigms in patients and healthy controls. I work at the University of Cambridge, and completed my PhD at University College London and my undergraduate degree at the University of Oxford. I’m particularly interested in the relationship between prefrontal control and subcortical reactivity across different neuropsychiatric disorders, including depression and addiction, and how neuroscientific tools could inform novel intervention strategies.
