I am gay and I am a PhD student.//

I was born (born gay ofc) and brought up in India. Presently I am pursing my PhD in Chemical Engineering at the University of Alberta and I work on CO2 capture. I did realize my sexuality early on, but had to remain in the closet till I was 24, came out only recently. While growing up I didn’t have the opportunity to see LGBTQ representation in science and I am so happy to see that here.
