Hello! I am a developmental psychologist studying how children learn about emotions. As an undergraduate, I realized that I wasn’t straight, but I grappled with my identity for a long time. Coming out now is much easier. And it is also so important given bi/pan-erasure in science and in general.
I received my Ph.D. from the University of Washington (2019) and my B.A. from Duke University (2013). My dissertation research on infant emotional development won Outstanding Dissertation Awards from the American Psychological Association (APA) and the University of Washington. I love babies, corgis, houseplants, yoga, and my two cats, Tiger and Lilly.
