Ariek

They/Them, he/him

I am transmasculine, queer, asexual and I am an ecologist and primatologist (in training).//

I became passionate about primatology after working at the Philadelphia Zoo in high school and about ecology after doing field research in the Canadian Rockies after my first year of college. I graduated from Franklin & Marshall College with a BA in Environmental Science last year and am now studying capuchin monkey behavior and ecology in Costa Rica. Next year I will start my PhD in Ecology and Evolution at Stony Brook University. My goal is to work in conservation biology and also mentor future generations of queer and trans field biologists!
