I am pansexual and I am a disease ecologist and virologist.//

My research pulls from different fields including virology, genetics, evolution and ecology, to study the dynamics of viruses in animals with an emphasis on understanding cross-species transmission. I care about equity, accessibility, and inclusion in the sciences – especially with equitable access to benefits from research in the global south as well as safety and inclusion in field research.
