I began my career researching how humans learn at Harvard’s Lab for Developmental Studies and Harvard Medical School, and now I write software that helps machines and humans learn together. I’m also an OSS contributor to PySwarms and PyMC3, and the lead developer for SwarmOpt (a swarm intelligence optimizer), and my passion for swarm intelligence is totally fueled by what I’ve learned from the queer community—our greatest insights and joys emerge when we open ourselves to exploring and learning WITH others. Our unique LGBTQIA* perspectives and experiences expand the search space of what’s possible!
