I am gay and I am a paleontologist, museologist and a scientific illustrator.//

 

I am a Portuguese paleontologist, working mainly with vertebrates and Jurassic dinosaurs at Dino Park Lourinhã. I have a master’s in Museology, another in Paleontology and I made my Ph.D. in Paleontological Heritage. My coming out was in 2000 when I was very committed to queer rights (marriage, adoption, and so on). Today I’m very proud to hear that my example helped others. I also do scientific illustration and I love queer tango!
