I’m gay and I’m a computational biology PhD student. //
I’m a PhD student at UC Berkeley, investigating gene regulation mechanisms in the human immune system. I’m originally from Israel, where I received my MS from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. I was fortunate to grow up, and later develop professionally, in a supportive and accepting environment that encouraged me to pursue my life passions. I hope to pay it forward wherever I can. Since my partner of 13 years is also in academia, I had the chance to live in and travel to many beautiful places. If we ever cross paths at a conference (or a national park), do feel free to come and say hi!
