I am gay and I am an undergraduate researcher in bioinformatics. //
My research focuses on utilizing data contained in a patient’s electronic medical record. I use machine learning to create algorithms that can predict the onset of disease using a patient’s data. I also work on creating tools that help patients better understand their medical data. I am a fourth-year undergraduate at UC Berkeley studying computer science and bioengineering.
