I am gay and I am a clinical neuropsychology PhD student.//
I’m a PhD student in Clinical Psychology (Neuropsychology Track) at Louisiana State University. Broadly, my research focuses on the decline of everyday function across normative and pathological (MCI/Dementia) cognitive aging. Specifically, my research examines the utility of using novel technologies to refine the way we asses the everyday function of these populations in the clinic. Similarly, I research if incorporating these same technologies increases the ecologically validity of cognitive rehabilitation for older adults with MCI/dementia. The final line of my research focuses on how psychosocial factors like anxiety and negative thinking worsen the everyday function of older adults.
