She/Her

I’m bi and I’m a sustainable-living educator. //

I’ve bounced around in the biology/environmental science field for the past decade. I did sea turtle research in Florida and the Caribbean for six years before going back to get my master’s in aquatic ecology. I started leading guided hikes, got to tour Montana with museum exhibits, ran the camps and sleepovers for a science center, and now I work for a nonprofit that teaches sustainability in Nashville. Spending every day in schools and at community events allows me to share my passion for protecting the earth, and I love empowering students to make positive changes in their lives. Another big passion of mine is highlighting STEAM careers, because when I was a kid I thought I wasn’t smart enough to be a scientist. Turns out, I just hadn’t found my niche yet.
