I’m trans and I’m a virology PhD student. //
I’m Pablo and recognize myself as a trans woman. I’m a microbiologist and got a master’s of science degree in biochemistry. My best life experience, until now, has been working in HIV advocacy in Guatemala, my lovely country. Now I’m living in Mexico doing cool stuff with Flavivirus and extracellular vesicles. I believe that trans is beauty. I’ve been rejected and hurt, but I found generous people around who make feel loved, strong, and a better person. I believe in science as a progress tool, visibility, and respect. That’s why #PrideInSTEM is so important. No matter what, I want to contribuite to a better world. (I wish you all the best, xoxo.)
