I am queer and I am an educator.//
I am a program director, instructor, and researcher focused on creating accessible and inclusive environments for underrepresented students in STEM. I am especially interested in developing a more diverse pipeline of scientific researchers.
I serve as the Education Director for a multi-campus NSF Science and Technology Center, and work for the UC Berkeley College of Engineering.
In my free time I’m involved in camps queer advocacy and community activism/volunteering. I enjoy surfing, skiing, hiking, wake-boarding, camping, and reading. My little queer family consists of a rescue pitsky (Nala) and rescue house rabbit (Moe).
