I am gay and I am a molecular oncologist. //

I started my university career doing an undergrad in genetics at Cardiff University before moving on to a master’s in cancer genetics at Utrecht University. I’ve spent the last two-and-a-half years doing a PhD in oncology at the University of Oxford, where I’ve been working on finding new diagnostic biomarkers for pancreatic cancer.
