I am gay and I am an evolutionary biologist.//
I’m an evolutionary biologist who mostly works in genetics, systematics, and phylogenetics of non-human primates. I’m an assistant professor in the Department of Anthropology at the University of Texas at San Antonio. My work includes extensive fieldwork, mostly in sub-Saharan Africa, lab work, and collection in museum collections. I’m passionate about science, education and I’m committed to social justice and equality. In my free time, I love music, working out, hiking, cooking, and more recently cuddling with my cat, Domino.
