I am a lesbian and I am a neuropharmacologist. //
I recently received my PhD in pharmacology & physiology at Drexel University College of Medicine, where I’m currently a postdoctoral researcher. I’m interested in understanding how synapses are regulated during homeostatic conditions and what drives synaptic dysfunction in a number of neurocognitive disorders, including HIV-associated neurocognitive disorders (HAND) and schizophrenia.
