I am a queer woman who has primarily been in lesbian relationships and I am a physics professor. //
I’m from Topeka, Kansas, and went to both undergrad and grad school near/in Philadelphia (Bryn Mawr and UPenn). I discovered I had interests in both soft-matter research and education, and have ended up somewhere I can care about both. I have also served on the APS CSWP, LGBT+ physicists, and was a AAAS Mass Media Fellow. In 2018 I was named a Cottrell Scholar.
