I am gay and I am a science communicator.//

After spending much of my time frustratingly mothering honey to the right temperature and consistency to pipet in order to research its antimicrobial properties, I decided lab work wasn’t quite for me. Still being interested in science, I packed up bags and moved to Manchester to work in science publishing. Combining social media, marketing and a handful of niche scientific areas now provides that creativity and variety in my daily life which I was looking for!
