She/Her
I am a lesbian and I am a natural resources graduate student. //
I’m a forest ecologist, a student, an artist, and a lesbian. I’m currently a master’s student at the University of Connecticut, studying the management of oak ecosystems throughout the Eastern United States. My love of natural areas and natural-resource management has led me to live and work in a wide range of ecosystems throughout the United States. I’ve been fortunate enough to work and interact with peers and mentors of all backgrounds and identities throughout my career. The positive interactions and influences I have had in my experiences have led me to understand the importance and the benefit of queer visibility in the STEM fields.
