Hello! My name is James Dunlea and I am currently working as a Behavioral Scientist at Walgreens. Here, I primarily focus on leveraging tools from social and cognitive psychology to ensure that our products and services meet our patients’ everyday, health, and wellness needs. Prior to joining Walgreens, I completed my Ph.D. in Psychology from Columbia University, my M.S. in Law from Northwestern University, and my B.S. in Human Development from Cornell University.
I am particularly passionate about connecting with scholars who are interested in how to build bridges between academia and industry, and about answering questions about what it is like to pursue a research-oriented career outside the academy. In my free time, I enjoy running, eating fancy foods, and hunting for new donut shops. I live in the best city in the world–Chicago, IL–with my fiancé, Nick.
