I am bi and I am an undergraduate researcher in infectious disease evolution. //
My work focuses on the evolutionary dynamics of vector-borne viruses in the southeastern U.S. I recently came out as bisexual, and started the #BiInSci hashtag on Twitter to help build a bi STEM community on social media. I am a rising fourth-year undergraduate student at the University of Georgia, and am currently completing a summer fellowship focused on the evolution of bacterial populations with Dr. Michael Baym at Harvard Medical School.
