He/Him
I am queer and I am an agronomist and DEI practitioner.//
Inspired by Francis Moore Lappé, I chose to study agronomy to make our world more equitable — especially how microbes transform our food and food production systems, including baculovirus as a biocontrol agent for agricultural pests. Influenced by a decade working at a small agricultural university in Bolivia, I incorporated more social justice into my idea of STEM, and now work at the University of St. Thomas (St. Paul, MN) to create a more inclusive environment for STEM students.
