I am queer and I am an epidemiologist.//
I am a social epidemiologist and a postdoc at the University of California, San Francisco. I study how social stratification, social policy, and the places we live shape our health. My ongoing projects focus on the health effects of residential eviction and of school & neighborhood segregation, as well as describing which groups are at highest risk of police violence in the US. I am so proud to be a queer person, and so grateful for the joy I’ve felt in queer community!
