I am gay and trans and I am a Master of Research student studying honey bee cognition and behaviour, as well as some side research into the bias of homosexual research in biology. //
I studied my undergrad in zoology majoring in conservation in Western Sydney, getting involved in field and lab work with native stingless bees to emu’s to wombats—all while discovering I was trans and starting my transition. I look forward to continuing my studies into becoming a fully fledged bee scientist, at the same time as my transition into a person that is more comfortable in myself.
