I am a plant eco-evolutionary biologist, educator, hiker, LGBTQ+ rights advocate, and musician. My research focuses on how abiotic factors associated with climate change impact the evolution of wetland plants, and how we can use this information to conserve endangered species. In addition to my biology research, I have started engaging in education research and DEI organizing around LGBTQ+ safety and inclusion in field sciences.
